The world's first and largest service club, was founded in Chicago, IL in 1905 by four businessmen. Today, there are 1.2 million members, men and women, in 33,000 clubs in 200 countries around the world. The Fall River Rotary Club was founded on December 1, 1920.

The Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. There are approximately 1.2 million Rotarians who belong to more than 32,000 Rotary clubs located in 200 countries.

Rotary provides information and opportunities to make a positive difference and build business. Our members share the common objectives of fostering high moral standards in business. Members are active in the community of Greater Fall River, including fund raising and community projects.

Our club was chartered onDecember 1, 1920, and is one of the 67 clubs in District 7950, which includes RI and SE MA and the islands. Most of our club meetings feature an invited guest speaker and are intended to be fun and educational.
